Hi, I'm Jonathon

I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in mechanical engineering in 2007. I worked in oil and gas for 12 years before deciding that corporate life wasn't for me. I started doing wood work as a pandemic hobby and began to focus on furniture making and design, and now I can't imagine doing anything else.

My interest is making vernacular furniture designed using artisan geometry and proportionality. I use time-tested techniques and joinery to make custom, heirloom quality pieces that will last a lifetime.

I also enjoy teaching and feel a deep obligation to share what I've learned about the craft. I host classes out of my shop, with topics ranging from hand cut joinery to chair making.
